Artist Statement
One day he bought some wire in order to hang a mirror on his bedroom wall, with the remaining wire, Simon started making simple sculptures.
When I look within, I find a long history that dates back millions of years. My art is a projection of all things within me. Different dates and characters from the past, humbling and sad at times. I will always create pieces that are technically sophisticated and will last for 100s of years. Human forms are the basis of my art; the feeling that so much more is needed until we mature. I will continue wondering: could I have done more?
